This course -
* Is recommended for
      Production Supervisors, Piece Part       Inspectors, and Coordinate Measuring       Machine Operators

* Focuses on visualizing the size, shape,   location, & orientation of the specified   tolerance zones
* Is based on ASME Y14.5M-1994
* Explores the need for establishing repeatable    and reproducable datum reference frames
* Investigates the measurement of non-rigid   parts
* Studies hole location inspection methods,    including the paper gaging approach
* Compares inspection methods, such as surface   plates, CMM’s, graphical inspection methods,    and functional gages
* Encourages the classroom exploration of   measurements of piece parts being used by   class attendees
 




* It is highly recommended that attendees have a    solid understanding of principles taught in
  GDT-102
before taking GDT-104

* GDT-104 is a 24-hour class
